TRADE RATIONALE
We are closing out our position in Valero Energy since it traded below my stop loss price at the opening this morning. Although this position was opened only one month ago with a three month target holding period, but we have already achieved our target return so it’s time to take our profit and move on. Depending on your entry price, the annualized return on this trade should be in the 100 – 150% range if you bought the stock, and much more than that if you purchased call options. Not bad!
