Trade Alert: TBPH, FNV, USG

Sell Theravance Biopharma (Nasdaq: TBPH), Franco-Nevada (NYSE: FNV), and USG Corp (NYSE: USG).

We recommend taking gains on Theravance Biopharma (Nasdaq: TBPH) and Franco-Nevada (NYSE: FNV), both of which have had nice recent runs. We may revisit these stocks in the future if the opportunity is right.

Hurricane Harvey has helped USG Corp (NYSE: USG) thanks to anticipation of higher demand for building materials. The company has repeatedly disappointed, however, and even Warren Buffett has expressed his disappointment earlier this year. We use the price bump as a selling opportunity today.

Dear Beatriz,

As I noted in my reply to you 2 days ago, we rate TAL a “buy” up to $35. I would suggest buying at least 4 or 5 of our current recommendations (see “Portfolio” section) if possible in order to diversify rather than putting all your eggs in one or two stocks.
