1/28/16: Selling Drillers on the Bounce

The Energy Strategist is downgrading Chesapeake Energy (NYSE: CHK), Carrizo Oil & Gas (NASDAQ: CRZO), Devon Energy (NYSE: DVN), Energen (NYSE: EGN) and WPX (NYSE: WPX) to Sell based on a plan laid out in the last issue. Global Partners (NYSE: GLP) is downgraded to a Hold and dropped from the Best Buys list following a distribution cut.

Are these the only ones on your list to sell? What about EOG, MTDR, to name a few?

We don’t recommend MTDR and are keeping EOG as a Hold for now, along with other conservatively leveraged producers like BP and COP. And I think that’s about all for our oil-focused E&P’s.
